PC Power, Inc. was incorporated as a non-profit corporation in the State of Oklahoma in January 2004, and preparation of an application to the IRS for 501(c)(3) approval began.
Media coverage of the North Pole Computer Project resulted in several hundred more phone calls from people offering to donate used computers. PC Power sponsored its first annual community-wide drop-off on January 31 at The Farm Shopping Center. More than a dozen volunteers spent a long day in the cold unloading donations, loading the truck shown in the picture below, and completing receipts for the donors.
