Computers delivered:

  1. A twelve-year old child experiencing serious academic difficulty.  His parents had withdrawn him from public school and were home schooling him, with the assistance of a home schooling support service.  The support service recommended a computer to help the child with his schoolwork, but the family was unable to afford one.

  2. A young woman who had overcome extraordinary adversity and entered veterinary school, and was unable to afford a computer to use in her studies.  She was referred by Deb McCaskey of KJRH (Channel Two) News.

  3. A young developmentally-delayed woman, who read at an elementary-school level.  Her mother had located a program that would help develop her reading ability so that she might seek a job.  Referred by Deb McCaskey of KJRH (Channel Two) News.
